Shannon is an artist living and creating in the American Midwest whose illustrative style blends elements of figurative and symbolist painting. She is fascinated with allegorical narratives and often draws inspiration from fables and folk tales.

 

She attended College of DuPage, receiving an Associate's and a solid foundation in art fundamentals such as life drawing and color theory.  She then earned a Bachelor's Degree in the Fine Art of Painting from Illinois Wesleyan University, where her studies focused primarily on art history, theory and criticism.
